The New Beetle convertible, very unlike the classic VW Beetleconvertible, is a much easier convertible top to install. It is conceivable that the owner installer may change her mindabout self installation. In that case we would supply names ofinstallers. However, as mentioned, the owner of the new Beetle whois reasonably handy (not afraid of using a pop rivet gun forexample) should be able to install the Beetle convertible top.
Beetle Convertible Top Fabrics
The original Beetle convertible top fabric (on the new Beetleconvertible) was German Sonnenland canvas. This is a 'high end'convertible top fabric. Some owners may wish to keep their Beetleconvertible original but others may wish to switch to a lessexpensive (but equally attractive) vinyl top. Sailcloth vinylconvertible top fabric was designed to imitate canvas but is a muchless expensive convertible top fabric than the original canvas.
