Tsukiko Yahisa is the first female student to enroll at Seigatsu Academy, a former all-boys school specializing in astronomy. Hopefully, this fixes some of you guys’ problems. ^^;
1. Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Region and Language > Administrative (tab) > Language for non-unicode programs.
2. Click Change system locale. It may ask for an administrator’s password.

3. Choose Japanese (Japan) and click ok.
How to Download:
1. Choose either of the Versions (Version 1 or Version 2). I personally recommend Version 1. Although there’s more files, it’s the most stable. Click the image below to take you to the download page.
2. Unzip them with WinRAR (You can download the trial version here.)

3. VERSION 1: Open the first file (part 1) with WinRAR. The file should say [Otome Game] starry sky in spring.rar. Double click the file.VERSION 2: Double click the first file (part 1). Click the .iso file. If a file says it is corrupted, try the other Version. NOTE FOR BOTH VERSIONS: Make sure you have downloaded ALL the files before starting the extract.
4. VERSION 1: After double clicking and waiting for it to extract, another window should pop up, saying [Otome Game] starry sky in spring.iso .
5. VERSION 1: Click the .iso file.
6. Extract to a folder that will be easy to find later. Here I’ve made a folder on my desktop.
7. Go to the folder where you extracted it, and open the file with WinRAR.
8. It should look like a window like this. Click the first folder (the […])
9. It should come to a file like this. Extract this to the same folder as before.
10. *NEW* -facepalms- I am so dumb. I forgot to tell you guys that FIRST you have to click the SETUP and install the game first OTL; Please do so before running.
11. Go to that folder, and find the file named “starrysky_spring”.
12. And there you go! The game is now installed! 🙂

How to Download the Patch:
1. Download the English patch.
2. Open and extract part 1 [Starry Sky ~In Spring ~ English Patch v1.0.exe] to the same folder as before, making sure that all the other files have finished downloading as well.
3. Find the file in the folder.
4. The English patch is now downloaded!

How to Patch:
1. Double click the file to open the patch. You should see this.
2. Click next until the Directory window. Click […] and find your file.
If you do not know where your file is located, right-click the starrysky_spring file and click Properties. You should see the file location under LOCATION. (duh!)
EDIT: I made a mistake with this part OTL; I patched it before, and when making this tut, forgot that I patched the file in Asgard, not Desktop. If the patch does not work, please try patching it here C:Program FilesasgardStarry☆Sky～in Spring～, or C:/ProgramFilesx86/asgard/Starryskyinspring, or something like that. It should be in the ASGARD folder (I AM BURDENED WITH GLORIOUS PURPOSE Avengers/Thor anyone? //END EDIT: PATCHING FILES
3. Choose the location, then click next. It should patch. (I can’t screen cap, cause I’ve already patched my files.)
4. Done! It should be patched and ready to play!
Problem Solving / Troubleshooting
If something doesn’t work, please check some of the random things that just might work, as well as helpful comments I’ve found below.
PROBLEM: Window pops up, with (????) on the startup.
to solve this :
1. Change the locale of your computer as mentioned in the first step. you have to do so because the patch wont understand the sentences like ????? so it sould be in japanese to patch the english .
2. Do the English Patch Part as mentioned above.
3. Go to the extracted File (the japanese one) that you saved, run the app ( Setup.exe) and press the next button or the button which is the second from the right. keep pressing and when some windows pop up just press ignor all the times. do that until it finishes.
4. it will launch the app in english and There you have it!!
** even the text of the story is in english .
ATTENTION: Dont change the location of the file to any other files because that will prevent it from starting.

PROBLEM: I have a Mac. Can I still play?
SOLUTION 1: Either you use a virtual machine such as using Parallel Desktop or something like that because Macintosh operating systems do not run .exe files. So, basically, long-story-short. You need Windows, Linux or something alike to play the game.
