  • 'The Sound Thinking NYC (STNYC) Summer Intensive, is a FREE three-week program that features college and career readiness workshops, training in software such as Pro Tools, mentoring from professionals in the music industry, and field trips to recording studios, performance venues and museums.
  • A six-week science and engineering program at MIT for rising high school seniors from across the country. Summer 2021 After careful consideration of public health and safety guidance surrounding COVID-19, the MIT OEOP will be suspending the MITES program for summer 2021.

Rice’s Visiting Owl program provides an opportunity for high school students and visiting college students to experience Rice and earn college credit with our online course offerings.

    This webinar shares the basics of how undergraduates can find and apply to paid summer research and paid internships. In collaboration with COSEE-OS, IBP staff guide participants through tips on finding programs and strengthening their applications. Veterans of paid summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) and NASA summer internships were also on hand to provide first-hand insights into their recent research opportunities.
    The Institute for Broadening Participation collaborated with COSEE-OS on this webinar with the goal of sharing information on preparing for a career in Ocean Sciences
    Featuring tips and advice from recent graduates who successfully funded their own education, this webinar discusses all the different types of funding options — from teach assistantships (T.A.) and research assistantships (R.A.) to fellowships. Produced in collaboration with COSEE-OS.
